2019 - 2020 Programs
 Wednesday, Oct 2, 2019 - 11:30am - 3:30pm
In 1987, Pope John Paul II declared to the world that the Jewish people are "the elder brothers in faith" for Christians. The question that emerges from the statement is what do Christians know about the elder brother? This presentation explores the major tenets of Judaism with emphasis on how they are practiced in the contemporary world. In this session, learners will explore issues related to life cycle events, worship services, holidays and dietary laws. The session will close with discussion on contemporary Jewish-Christian relations.
The day begins with registration and lunch at 11:30am; the presentation begins at 12:30pm.
